There are a total of six permanent atoms (three lower physical & three higher spiritual ) & they affect the evolution of a human. The higher come into activity as a person acheives initiations. A completely unevolved individual would be under the influence of the physical permanent atom. Life would be mainly about survival & fitting in with the masses. Learning would be very slow & many lifetimes would be spent in this state until a person can see themselves as separate from the masses. At that point a level 1 initiation would be given by Lord Christ & attention would shift to the astral permanent atom & a being's focus would shift to the astral plane which is sometimes called the desire plane, due tt the fact that acquistion of material things becomes very important, kind of like keeping up with the Jones. Subjects like love are more thought about what it does for the self & less about the benefkt to others. But the individual slowly learns & eventually more encompassing love is learned & the emotions & desires become much better controlled. A being would then receive a Level 2 initiation which is also given by Lord Christ & the being's focus shifts to the mental plane & the mental unit. A permanent atom is the postive nucleous or germ of sustance to the sheath where it is found. It is that which is the basis of form building & it is literally a vibrant point of force, emanating from the second aspect of the monad, which aggregates to itself & subsequently builds into form, the negative or 3rd aspect (matter-Brahma). The spirallae are streams of force or second aspect(vishnu-soul) vitality which circulate geometically within the walls of substance (permanent atom),composed of the third aspect substance. Each permanent atom responds to the vibration of one of the Heavenly Men (Ssacred planet- Kumaras-Arch Angels) as it is transfered via the deva or Brahma aspect of his threefold nature. The permanent atom finds its place within the sphere of influence of one or other of the devas who are the Raja-Lords of a plane. Every form is an aggregate of atoms, simply a force centre produce by the action of positive force & its interaction with negative energy. It is the vitality of the second aspect working in conjunction with the third & producing in time & space, the illusion or maya which creates the impression that matter is a concrete something. Our eyes see & our touch feels objects at the macro level, even though microscopes present life at more truthful levels.
The three permanent atoms are in themselves centres of force or those aspects of the personality, which hold hid the fires of substance. substance that is considered the dense physical. Surrounding these three atoms is the causual sheath. One purpose of the sheath is to separate one unit of the egoic consciousness from another. The sheath is itself part of the gaseus body (The 5TH Cosmic Physical Subplane) in the body of the planetary logos, who is the central life of any group of Monads. The causual sheath hold hid spiritual potenialities in its inherent ability to respond to higher vibration; from Tthe moment of individualization till it is discarded at initiation, the life within steadily developes these potentialities & produces certain definite results by the utilization of the three permanent atoms. It gradually vivifies & awakens them until, on the three planes, the central life has an adequate point of contact which can originate the necessitated vibration in the matter of the plane. The permanent atoms of each plane serve a fourfold purpose as regards the central or egoic life: 1. They are distributors of a certain type of force.
2. They are conservers of facualty or abilityu to respond to a particular vibration
3. They are assimilators of experience & the transmuters of that experience into quality. this is a direct result of the egoic ray as it plays upon the atom.
4. They hold hid the memory of the unit of consciousness. When fully vibrant they are the reason for the continuity of the consciousness of the main functioning of the causual body.
We are dealing with the Logoic dense physical body & that:
The Mental unit found on logoic gaseous matter
The Astral permanent atom found in the logic liguid matter
The Physical permanent atom found in the dense physical substance
These are the three lowest subplane of the physical body of the Logos. Through the process of evolution & through initiation man acheives the consciousness of the spiritual Triad, hidden in the egoic lotous & transfers his polarization into the three Tridal Permanent atoms. He can then function consciously with the etheric body of his particular Planetary Logos. As each man (unit of consciousness)acheikves a goal (Initiations), he crosses the burning ground, a microscopic portion of the etheric web of the Planetary ethjeric body is consumed by fire. The Planetary Logos gains liberation of the force of one cell in his body. The Egoic ray of a human unit manifests as regards each ray of the higher Logoic manifestation. Each of the seven rays in connection with the causual body of a man demonstrated as a unity on the first subplane, a triplcity on the second & as seven on the third, forming the 49 groups which most concern an evolving man.
The Astral permanent atom is the recipent of a great flow of force or energy & receives more stimulation than the others & this for the following reasons:
1. The centre of polarization four the fourth (humnan) kingdom, is the Astral consciousness,viewing this kingdom as a unit in expression. From the Astral through the desire nature, The majority of mankind direct & control the physical vehicle. the astral body is a direct line of force via the Buddhic to the Monadic levels rays 2-4-6
2. The goal set before humanity is that of becoming Masters of the Wisdom or consciouness units in the body of the Dragon of wisdom (Vishnu) or of love. This acheived when a human can function consciously in the Buddhic vehicle which occurs when the Astral permanent atom is superceded by the Buddhic permanent atom in the triad.
3. The next reason is that the second aspect (love) is the one demonstrated in this system. This system is a son of necessity (desire) vibrant to the Cosmic ray of love & governern by the Cosmic law of attraction.
4. The centre in Cosmic body of the one about naught may be said of which are Solar Logos is the embodied force in the heart centre. The sacred planets, with certain allied spheres within the ring pass me not, are parts of that heart centre & are petals of the lotus or in the heart centre of that great unknown existence who stands to our Solar logos as he stands to the heavenly men (sacred planets) who are his centres.
A fundamental difference of the mental unit & the other two atoms, is that it contains only four spirillae instead of seven like the other two. This caused by the mental unit being the first aspect of the personality triadd or of a human functioning in the human kingdom on the three lower planes. At his transference into the spiritual kingdom the three aspects, Mental, Astral & physical are synthesised into the higher by a dual process whereby his polarization shifts from the lower three atoms into the triadal atoms & the force which these atoms generate is merged & blended into the higher force points. The four lower spirillae are under the the influence of the personality ray. The 5th & 6th spirillae are more specifically under the egoic ray, whatever that ray maybe. The 5th spirillae has a pecular value in asmuch as it synthesises to the lower four. It is the third when counting the streams of spiral force from the standpoint of the atomic pole. It vibrates to five types of force. The spirillae are literally ten in number, three major & seven minor. But fom the unity point of view, They are the four & the major three, the remaining lessor three being counted as one with their major inasmuch as they are direct reflections.A The arrangement of the spirillae within the permanent atoms varies on each plane. The arrangement of these tiny force vortices & their internal economy on each plane , is one of the secrets of initiation & may not be revealed. the sreams of force show a septenary in the lower three permanent atoms of man, while the higher three contain but three spirillae, the major three. The permanent atoms of men are upon the atomic subplane of each plane, with the exception of the mental unit. The sumtotal of the permanent atoms of any particular kingdom form the spirillae or streams of force in the greater atoms of Solar entities or of lunar entities while the sumtotal of the permanent atoms of man in the spiritual kingdom (the three Triadal atom, ATMA-BUDDHI-MANAS) form streams of force within certain centres.
