AGNI – Ruler of Fire the vitality that energises & the life that animates; to the contemplation of the fire that drives, propels & produces the activity & organization of all forms. The realization of this will reveal the fact that what we are dealing with is the “LIFE AND THE LIVES” as it is called in the SECRET DOCTRINE; with Agni the Lord of Fire, the creator, the preserver & destroyer; & with the forty-nine fires through which he manifests. We are dealing with the Solar Fire per , with the essence of thought, with coherent life of all forms, with the consciousness in its evolving aspect, or with Agni, the sumtotal of all Gods. He is Vishnu & the sun in his glory; he is the fire of matter & the fire of mind blended & fused he is the intelligence which trobs in every atom; he is the mind that activates the system; he is the fire of substance & the substance of the fire; he is the flame & that which the flame destroys. Agni is the lord of the mental plane. He the animating life of the solar system, & the life that is the life of God, the energy of the Logos, & the manifestation the radiance which veils the central sun. Only as he is recognized as fohat, the energy of matter as wisdom, the nature of the ego & its motivation & as essential unity, can any due conception be arrived at as to his nature or being. Fohat, prana, electricity, magnetic fluid are all terms for this vitalizing life. He is not the Solar Logos on the Cosmic mental plane, for the egoic consciousness of the Logos is more than his physical manifestation, but Agni is the sumtotal of that portion of the Logoic Ego, which is reflected down into his physical vehicle; He is the life of the Egic personality, with all that is included in that expression. He is to the Solar Logos on his own plane what the coherent personality of a human being is to the ego in the causual body.
The three aspects of the God of Fire & the fire of God, are the three entities of the Logic Trinity & each in turn manifests through seven other entities who form in their total manifestation the basic differentation of the Solar sytem as folows:

As electric fire the Logos manifests as the seven aspects of will, spiritual impulse or purpose - seven spirits before the throne - in their essential essence the dynamic force behind all manifestation. They find their originating incentive onthe cosmic lower mental levels, the logic “JEWEL in the LOTUS” & the cosmic atmic plane. They show forth as forty-nine existences. As solar fire, he manifests as the seven rays or as the light of wisdom, the consciousness radiating through the form. The seven Heavenly Men- the sumtotal of light-the seven rays of manifestation of the spiritual sun- in time & space, the seven become nine (major 3 & the 3RD manifesting as seven) & are thus the nine petals of the egoic lotus. They are in the line of force from the Great Bear ASTRAL PLANE, THE LOGOIC NINE PETALLED AND THE COSMIC BUDDHIC PLANE (THE SEVEN RISHIS OF THE GREAT BEAR). THEY MANIFEST THROUGh LESSOR RAYS.
As fire by friction He manifests as the seven sons of fohat, the seven great fires or the active heat of intelligent substance.

These are the seven Raja-Lords or Devas of the seven planes; they are the seven fires,or those states of activity through which consciousness is expressing itself. They are the vehicles of consciousness & the seven vibrations. They are esoterically the " Brothers of energy". SPIRALLAE OR FORCE VIBRATIONS OF THE LOGOIC PHYSICAL ATOM. THEIR VITAL FORCE EMANATES FROM THE COSMIC PHYSICAL PLANE, THE LOGOIC PERMANENT ATOM (WITHIN THE CAUSUAL BODY) AND THE COSMIC HIGHER MENTAL LEVEL THE SEVEN FIRES FORM THE 49 FIRES. THE AGNISHVATTAS- SOLAR ANGELS RULED BY AGNI EXIST ON THE FIFTH SUBPLANE OF THE COSMIC PHYSICAL (THE MENTAL). THEY PRODUCE THE UNION OF THE SPIRITUAL TRIAD AND THE LOWER QUARTERNARY OR LOWER SELF. THEY PRODUCE THE CONDITIONS WHERE THE ETHERIC AND DENSE PHYSICAL BECOME A UNIT. THEY REPRESENT A PECULIAR TYPE OF ELECTRICAL FORCE. THEIR WORK IS TO BLEND AND FUSE AND THEY ARE THE TRANSMUTING FIRES OF THE SYSTEM. THEY PASS THE LIFE OF GOD THROUGH THEIR BODIES OF FLAME AS IT DESCENDS FROM THE HIGHER TO THE LOWER AND AGAIN AS IT ASCENDS FROM THE LOWER TO THE HIGHER. THEY ARE CONNECTED IN THEIR HIGHEST GROUPS, WITH THAT PORTION OF THE LOGOIC HEAD CENTRE WHICH CORRESPONDS TO THE HEART. KAMIC ANGELS ARE VITALISED FROM THE HEART CENTRE AND MANASIC ANGELS FROM THE LOGOIC HEAD CENTRE, VIA THE POINT WITHIN THAT CENTER CONNECTED WITH THE HEART. THESE TWO DOMINATING GROUPS ARE THE SUM TOTAL OF KAMAS-MANAS IN ALL ITS MANIFESTATIONS. THE SOLAR ANGELS EXIST IN THREE GROUPS, ALL OF WHICH ARE CONCERNED WITH SELF CONSCIOUSNESS ASPECT, ALL OF WHICH ARE ENERGISED AND CONNECTED WITH THE FIFTH SPIRALLA OF THE LOGOIC PERMANENT ATOM AND ALL OF WHICH WORK AS A UNIT. ONE GROUP THE HIGHEST IS CONNECTED WITH THE LOGOIC HEAD CENTRE, WHETER SOLAR OR PLANETARY. THEY WORK WITH THE MANASIC PERMANENT ATOM AND EMBODY THE WILL TO BE IN DENSE PHYSICAL INCARNATION. THEIR POWER IS FELT ON THE ATOMIC SUB-PLANE AND ON THE SECOND; THEY ARE THE SUSTANCE AND LIFE OF THOSE PLANES. ANOTHER GROUP IS CONNECTED WITH THE CAUSUAL BODIES OF ALL THE EGOS AND ARE OF PRIME IMPORTANCE IN THIS SOLAR SYSTEM. THEY COME FROM THE HEART CENTRE AND EXPRESS THAT FORCE. THE THIRD GROUP CORRESPONDING TO THE THROAT CENTRE, SHOW FORTH THEIR POWER ON THE FOURTH SUB-PLANE THROUGH THE MENTAL UNITS. THEY ARE THE SUM TOTAL OF THE POWER OF THE EGO TO SEE, TO HEAR AND TO SPEAK (OR SOUND) IN THE STRICTLY OCCULT SENSE.
